Snjezana Peco commented on JBDS-2086:
-------------------------------------

We could create a separate view (or editor) that would show all the configExtension extension points.
The view would be similar to(or the same as) the base eclipse Welcome view and would contain the overview, tutorials, samples, whatsnew page.
We would add the "More Welcome content..." button to our Welcome screen. The button would open that view.

> When third party plugins contribute a welcome screen they are currently not shown.
> I think it would have value that we provide a way to have users get access to this content similar to what Eclipse EPP packages does.
> Is it possible to simply add a "More Welcome content..." button in case of more welcome screens being available and switch to a page that has a grid layout of the contributed welcome screen elements ?
> Or maybe add a scrollable panel at the bottom of the welcome screen showing the contribute elements "sliding by ?"
