There are multiple ways to install JBDS into Eclipse, with varying degrees of succes / effectiveness:

a) if install JBDS .all feature:

* on restart of Eclipse, we get the JBDS branding
* can only Search For Updates to find a new .all feature
* cannot install child features (components)

b) if install JBDS .product feature:

* No JBDS branding
* can only Search For Updates to find a new .product feature
* can do incremental updates to child features (components)
