While trying to verify JBIDE-8534 I hit this issue. When I wanted to create a Seam Project with Birt reporting, when I hit Finish, this error occured:

Errors occurred during the build.
Errors running builder 'JavaScript Validator' on project 'seamproj'.
java.lang.NullPointerException

The underlying error is Internal validation error in BirtUtility.js
