The issue is 6 months old and quite stale. At this point I'd have to retest everything with JBoss Tools 3.3 final (I have the idea that the deployment tab is now showing me a different picture than what I saw all those months ago). I'll see if I can find some time to reproduce the issue with a completely fresh project. But I must admit that since then I've had the pleasure of doing some deployments to Tomcat 7 and the process is far from an automatic one in a Mavenized project; it requires many manual project setting corrections before it works properly.
