Hey Shaun, 

this JIRA explains that the issue occurs when: "using a newer version of hibernate than what is in the core", and max points out that this is not only related to Hibernate. However, using Hibernate as an example, are you referring to someone using a newer version of the hibernate tooling or hibernate itself?
