Brian Fitzpatrick commented on JBIDE-11673:
-------------------------------------------

Max, in the latest builds I've noticed that Forge Console also shows up in the Show In -> menu when it's installed.

That said, there really isn't a way to filter the "Show In" functionality as far as I can see. Between the basic extension point, class, and IShowInTarget interface on the view, there simply isn't a way to stop it from coming up if it's implemented. The public boolean show(ShowInContext context) method only kicks in when the menu is executed, which is bogus in my book.

So... The best I can propose is that we move these "Show In" menus to be regular action contributions to the context menu when they're appropriate.

> Search for files, right click on result folder and I get a show in > JBoss ESB configuration visualizer.
> It probably shows up on many other things - it shouldn't ;)
