Nick Boldt commented on JBIDE-11077:
------------------------------------

@Denis, you should use BundleShape instead of explodedBundles so that you don't have to define the same information in multiple places (feature.xml and pom.xml vs. just in manifest.mf). See JBIDE-11094.

As to an example of building a site from upstream already-built stuff to collect test plugins into a single place:

Script: http://anonsvn.jboss.org/repos/jbosstools/trunk/build/aggregate/bottests-site/
Job: https://hudson.qa.jboss.com/hudson/job/jbosstools-3.3_stable_branch.bottests.aggregate/
Results: http://download.jboss.org/jbosstools/updates/nightly/bottests/

> In order to make testing re-usable and to perform same tests on several environment without rebuilding them.
> Suggestion of implementation: Provide feature in component update-site and have an aggregated site for tests, the same way there is one for components (could be a nightly, a snapshot, a release...)
