I'll assume you mean the current Open With menu on servers is not enough since it just works on the "root" of the server.

Thus the Open With I envision would be on the module level and it should simply just do "Open with > Browse" on the resources it makes sense (i.e. war and ear, but not jar and ds.xml and similar).

Then the browser you have configured in eclipse to browse is used to open it.
