Even on Windows 7 I was able to get Run As to break.  Error log says
"Module bean-validation on JBoss 7.1 Runtime Server not ready to be shown in web browser. Waiting..."

and then the server will not stop - has to be killed/terminated.

I imported bean-validation from the AS7.1 quickstarts - it is not really a web app.
