Max Rydahl Andersen commented on JBIDE-11235:
---------------------------------------------
We can edit all kinds of files with java.file.IO and you can even temporarily open external files for editing so i'm sure we can get them edited if we want to.
The challenge is where to find a good way to do this.
Where should the quickfix be ? On missing dependencies as a "Locate Maven repositories on disk..." kinda' thing ?

> Not sure if this should be in runtime detection or better done as a quickfix on missing dependencies.
> But being able to scan for/recognize local on disk maven repositories and provide a quickfix to change settings.xml to include the basic xml setup for having them enabled would be good.
