Alexey, 
are you really trying latest Seam snapshot? There should be version 2.3.0.Beta2-SNAPSHOT of seam jars.

Add 3) Richfaces in seam are there due Richfaces CDK 3.3 and its usage for generation of Seam UI taglib which is not migrated to RF CDk 4 yet. Anyway examples are using RF 4 and also seam-gen should do that too.
