+1000.

use p2director to run against the generated repo and *only* include *relevant* repos as additional sites to look at + validate that the installed content is the expected should be goal but we can start by just limiting the sites it gets access to.

if p2 gets to look at previous builds then the tests aren't worth anything since it would just get from elsewhere.

Tests could be done for both our mirrors but also against plain eclipse.org to see if it will work "in the wild too"

other interesting things being able to test: no new dependencies installed since last run of the test to catch any out of band new additions to the set of dependencies used.
