Nick Boldt commented on JBIDE-10803:
------------------------------------

So... you want a feature in AS which includes everydangthing which can be ref'd from Central, Eclipse Marketplace, and JBT aggregate site? If we do that, we can then "hide" the existing AS main feature, which would be installable should a user look for uncategorized features, but otherwise they'll get the larger and more feature-complete default.

This is akin to the model we now have for Central: there's a central feature, which is minimal & hidden, and there's a community.central feature, which includes all the dependencies needed for Central to be useful, and is exposed on the update site (and will be in Eclipse Marketplace for Beta3, too).

Does that "all in one" vs. "bare minimum" model make sense for AS Tools, too?
