The fix hasn't been committed to JBT 3.3.0.Beta3 yet.
It works correctly with EAP ER7 and won't work only if there isn't the org.jboss.spec:jboss-javaee-web-6.0 artifact with a version containing "redhat".
The message related to the 3.0.0.Beta1-redhat-1 hasn't been changed. That is fixed now and committed to the trunk. Attached is a new patch.
First you have to apply jbide-11684.patch then jbide-11684a.patch

BTW
EAP ER6 and EAP ER7 include the 3.0.0.Final-redhat-1 version of this artifact.
