I've used a completely new workspace. The 'entity' file was opened correctly in the editor but not selected in the project explorer.

My exact steps were:
1) new-project --named test #I selected com.test as a package
2) persistence setup --provider HIBERNATE --container JBOSS_AS7
3) entity --named Customer
