Though I am not able to reproduce your particular situation, I have a proposed workaround. Try reselecting the operation (i.e click the "Get from WSDL" button, reselect the operation to test) before you click Invoke. I suspect that the history caches the information and isn't refreshing it automatically under the covers when you go from the Web Services->Test in JBoss Web Service Tester menu.
