I've checked once again. The situation is the following:
1. When you change the tag name for both start and end tag -- after that it's not possible to drop the element from palette to this tag.
2. If only start or end tag name was changed -- it's possible to drag the element to the unchanged tag visual zone.
3. Concerning steps to reproduce: after I have changed the tag name to <htmlerror> -- it's not possible to drop to this tag, but I'm able to drop to any other known tag.
4. On mac it's possible drop even to <htmlerror> tag, on linux and windows -- it is not.
