Hi Len,

1) I would say that the DISPLAY variable should be set by default on any linux. It is not required just by Drools tests, it is needed for every GUI application. Anyway, this error is not caused by tests themselves, it is definitely problem with system environment - maybe something wrong with X server.

2) I would try it. It is possible that the tests won't pass but the reason should not be any error.
