I dont think this fits in jbosstools-integration-tests which currently is dragging in mixed bag of reddeer dependencies outside our target platform. As long as that is happening and they are not build to run within Jenkins standalone nor part of JBT/JBDS main testing,
we should not mix these up IMO.
{quote}
Ok, so can you suggest a better location ?

{quote}
why is this dependent on jbosstools-4.0_trunk.component--base/all/repo ? shouldn't this be run based on what branch/master we are on ?
{quote}
Those tests are currently independent of the JBT version we use. It's more dependent on p2 and Central UI. Since those have not changed for awhile, we always use the latest version of the Bot bundles.
The version of installation-tests is not coupled to the version/branch of JBT (so far) so we always use the latest/greatest which is backward-compatible.

{quote}
I guess because of org.jboss.tools.tests.installation IU, so shouldn't this code actually move/live next with these install scripts ?
{quote}
Yes we'd like to move both Bot code in org.jboss.tools.tests.installation and the groovy scripts which are using them.

> base/tests/scripts/* contains references to upper components in the stack thus its not really appropriate to have this in the stack.
> Options are to move it to its own repo or move to integration-tests - or possibly a combination.
