Can't remove this yet. No source features exist for SOA sites yet, so we should ensure that those features are created before removing this workaround. 

Note too that from a LEGAL standpoint, we need a zip of all the sources in one place which can be scanned as text for copyright/license/legal compliance. Can't do that with source features and plugins, but can do that with
