Fixed. New version installed is 2.0.2.20121121. 

Reason for the failure? Need to mirror FIRST to local folder, then a SECOND time to remove artifact.references to FindBugs remote site and make site self-contained. Solution found here:

Need to verify it STILL works tomorrow (Nov 22) when their nightly site gets refreshed with the 2.0.2.20121122 version, or if the previous problem (their site, and my old 20121005 mirror had bad metadata) reoccurs.
