It is not a bug but a feature :) These strings like "Fetching ${IU.name}", "Installing ${IU.name}", "Configuring ${IU.name}" are generated by p2, I just redirect them from console output to progress. This  toolingorg.eclipse.equinox.launcher.cocoa.macosx.x86_64 is generated name for special metadata IU. "toling" is a profile name + org.eclipse.equinox.launcher.cocoa.macosx.x86_64 is an IU name.
