But from the BrowserSim's users perspective the major difference between these two debuggers is that Firebug Lite is slightly faster and its UI is similar to UI of Firebug in Firefox, and Weinre is slightly solver and the UI is similar to Chrome/Safari Developer Tools.

We just added a screenshot to this JIRA. It should be pretty self-explanatory.
If you want to try it now, you may use nightly JBoss Tools build or browsersim.jar from https://hudson.jboss.org/hudson/view/JBossTools/view/JBossTools_Trunk/job/jbosstools-vpe-browsersim-standalone_master/
And then run it with the command:
java -jar browsersim.jar
