This option was specifically introduced to be able to increase the VM memory options but it can be use for any VM option that is documented here: http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/java/javase/tech/vmoptions-jsp-140102.html

> Under the preferences for Forge, a user can specify 'Forge startup VM arguments'.
> From the Forge documentation pages, I can see that one example of an argument could be '--debug' but this is already offered as a checkbox 'start Forge in debug mode'.
> From a google search, I found that another example of an argument could be '-pluginDir' to make Forge look in a specific folder for plugins rather than the default .forge/plugins folder. (https://github.com/forge/core/pull/124)
> What other arguments are there? If there are hundreds could you list a few that users of the JBDS IDE might need?
