dev should not consume zip any more, they're more encouraged to use multiple TP directly or build a TP site locally.
I agree source features can be optional, but having them is not an issue, and making them optional introduce efforts in maintainance and usage.
Isn't JBDS installer just as big as the content of the product? If we don't put source features in product definition, installer should be bigger.
