Nick Boldt commented on JBIDE-13288:
------------------------------------

[~maxandersen] Do you remember why I opened this? Was it something you asked for? Do we still need this, since we now have this new convention:

https://devstudio.jboss.com/updates/7.0-staging/devstudio-directory.xml (upcoming milestone for QE to test)
https://devstudio.jboss.com/updates/7.0-development/devstudio-directory.xml (latest milestone)
https://devstudio.jboss.com/updates/7.0/devstudio-directory.xml (once we GA)

I can't see a reason why we'd want to ever go back to an older version of Central - we only need the one site that's compatible with all 7.0.x releases.

If you agree, please close this. If you don't please explain how we benefit from major/minor/service/milestone/ URLs.

> Instead of
> https://devstudio.jboss.com/updates/6.0/devstudio-directory.xml
> We should consider using something like
> https://devstudio.jboss.com/discovery/6/1/0/Alpha1/devstudio-directory.xml
