Andre Dietisheim commented on TOOLSDOC-311:
-------------------------------------------

in Chapter *1.1.1 About OpenShift*:

{quote}
OpenShift provides disk space, CPU resources, network connectivity, and an Apache or JBoss server
{quote}

IMHO it's neither complete nor completely accurate to say *and an Apache or JBoss server*. If you look at the application types offered in OpenShift you'll see that there are many more servers:

* JBoss EAP, AS7
* Tomcat
* Zend
* etc.

IMHO the term *platform* (PaaS) aka runtime fits better than server. OpenShift offers a runtime environment where one can deploy it's application.
