actually talking with [~rob.stryker] about this having a uservariable here doesn't enable sharing since runtime definitions aren't sharable.

Thus even if we added this it wouldn't help enabling sharing of the configuration.

The server parts can use variables and refer to runtimes via a name.

[~rob.stryker] can provide details on that - but its not perfect and unfortunately a WTP limitation.
