I'm starting to believe that it is safer to change this only in one place we control (parent pom) so I'll be able to make sure we really get rid of it when Workbench won't need PlatformAdmin any more.
[~dgolovin]: you've identified that org.eclipse.equinox.event is also necessary. [~snjeza] Maybe it's the only other bundle necessary in the feature. Can you try the failing tests with org.eclipse.osgi.compatibility.state+org.eclipse.equinox.event instead of the whole feature?
If it's working, then I'll probably accept a PR to change that in parent pom, and I'll remove this additional stuff when Eclipse bug on this topic is resolved.
