Hello, [~burrsutter].
Don't you think this + / - images are redundant? 
If mouse is over the tool panel  - the  pointer cursor is shown (need to click), If the  mouse is over the "move" image - the move cursor is shown (can move it). Basically, I don't think it's a good idea to have different design in ripple and cordovaSim. So, I am going to create a PR for apache ripple team in order to have the same design.
