[~mickael_istria] I like keeping master as a place to store readme and cross-branch scripts like publish.sh too, but I was outshouted by [~maxandersen] so I just wrote down his request above.

+1 to branches for target platforms, master for everything else. Good point on the fact that we need the branch # to make the matrix job work :)
