there are simply not enough details so far so that I could reproduce it. 
I tried by creating an jbossas-7 application and then used "Web-Browser" in the context menu of the application in the *OpenShift Explorer*. Dito when I tried to open the web browser in *Servers view* via the context menu of the server adapter (Show in -> Web Browser). Things went all smooth, I had the starter app opened in the web browser. Please provide more details (what application type? how did you open the web-browser?) so that I can reproduce your steps.
2 Further tries with jbossews-1/2 applications did not unveil any error either.
