In the client library we still have old (legacy) application types and interfaces:

IPHPApplication
IPythonApplication
IPerlApplication
IRawApplication
etc.

JenkinsApplication
JBossASApplication
RubyApplication

Afaik Bill created these in the legacy client and they were ported over to the new REST client. They're a bad design idea and we should simply get rid of them.
