The problem here is that integrationtests are one big git repo where there are no separation between if its testing core or soa.

There should be.

It seems very wrong to me we are putting soatests into a site which contains tests for core which will have things that are directly incompatible with old soatests.

I think there are some lack of separation/structure missing here.

It sounds like the bot.ext stuff just shuold be on its own site and then composited into coretests and soatests keeping them separate.

Wouldn't that solve the problem and keep things cleanly seperate and possibly to version based on the actual release cycles ?
