The user has some other ways to read the entire message:
- hover mouse over the message, in one second, a tooltip with the entire text appears;
- transfer focus to the message area by clicking mouse in it or by repeatedly pushing Tab, after that the user can either navigate cursor with arrows making last lines visible or copy content to clipboard by Ctrl+A, Ctrl+C.

Most dialogs in Eclipse inherit TitleAreaDialog which implements these features of title area, and if some better features may be suggested, they may be as well submitted upstream for improving TitleAreaDialog.
