Rob Stryker commented on JBIDE-15012:
-------------------------------------

Added PR: https://github.com/jbosstools/jbosstools-base/pull/161/files

Puts a limit of 250 ms for each status update. I'm not sure if this will work 100% for you mac users, though, as I'm unsure if it's the 'work' update thats killing the progress monitor OR if it's the subtask(string) method. I strongly suspect its the subtask string which is causing the damage, so I've coded it that way.

> Go to Preferences -> JBoss Tools -> Runtime detection
> and try to download a runtime using the Download button.
> While the runtime is downloading, press Cancel/Stop to abort the download. Nothing will happen (at least in my case).
