Burr Sutter commented on JBIDE-15154:
-------------------------------------
We should have waited until we really had the download working :-)
But in the meantime, the best URL is
http://www.jboss.org/products
Where the end-user can click the green "Download Now" button. If they already have a jboss.org login the download will start immediately. I have not tested the scenario of if the user has no jboss.org registration - I assume it walks the end-user through the registration process.

> Following JBIDE-15053, I still don't like the fact that we point users to access.redhat.com instead of the direct link available at http://www.jboss.org/jbossas
> Go to Preferences -> JBoss Tools -> Runtime Detection -> Download and try to download EAP 6.1. You will be shown this link:
> Click this and after you log in you will be shown this message unless you have a subscription:
> You do not have access to the requested software.
> Would it be possible to point to the link from http://www.jboss.org/jbossas instead? That one starts downloading EAP 6.1 immediately.
