It adds Eclipse-SourceReferences to bundles. Cf

Another benefit of this Eclipse-SourceReferences is that it puts in the MANIFEST.MF a reference to the commit/tag that was used to build the bundle.

As for the version, I'd be tempted to say 1.0.0.Final, but is it an extra-effort compared to only 1.0.1. As it's a non-blocking improvment, I'd vote for the easiest solution.
