Rob Stryker commented on JBIDE-11454:
-------------------------------------

> In the server view, the app is [Synchronized], not [Started, Synchronized] as usual, so there is a difference. But nowhere can I see an error or any indication that something is wrong. The intention was to have some error, no?

No, having some error would be an enhancement which was not requested. The scope of this bug was to make sure it doesn't say 'started' if the module is not 'started'.

> When deployment of an application fails on JBoss EAP, JBoss Tools doesn't recognize this as failure and continues to report the status as [Started, Synchronized].
> This a request to add the ability for JBDS to report back via the console when a deployment fails due to application errors.
