After installing Mylyn connector into JBDS 7.0.0.Beta2 / CR1a, open the Task Repositories view, right-click the JBoss Community entry, and select Properties:

Then enter your credentials, and click Validate Settings:

Works for me, cannot reproduce your captcha error.
