This is simply not true. You are renaming where the module WILL be deployed BEFORE you add it. If the server has 0 modules added and is fully synchronized, the viewer will *still* show all workspace modules ELIGIBLE to be deployed, such that you can customize where they'll be deployed to. 

And so the warning message we post "Settings on this page may only be modified if the server has 0 modules and is fully synchronized." is perfectly valid. 

The fact is that once you add a module to the server, you cannot change its deployment location. So I'm really not at all sure what UI improvements you'd seriously request here. YOu asked for a warning message, and I showed you the warning message you asked for is ALREADY there, at which point you then say the warning message I have (nearly identical to the one you request) is insufficient. 

In short, it makes no sense. I already have exactly what you asked for, and now you say that's insufficient without suggesting a new workflow. I honestly don't see any other workflow that I could do to improve here so long as WTP does not have deltas provided when a server is changed.
