[~nickboldt] I'm not following what you are trying to do here. 

The problem is that the installer content is not filtered down to actually be what is supposed to be in the installer. It seems to just add *everything* blindly from the generated updatesite.

Also we've in the past had things that we provide as add-ons that then are installed from central.

The fix is to make sure that we don't include things like org.jboss.tools.maven.gwt.feature that are not required; basically use the product requirements to filter what goes into the updatesite.
