[~nickboldt] The issue is that the installer contains artifact that are not necessary for installation, then the binary is bigger than necessary, which is annoying when downloading installer (it takes so long in Europe). The idea would be instead of providing the whole JBDS+TP site, to provide a single site containing Product IU+all dependencies.
IMO we need to create another update-site just for installer. Either we try to achieve that with p2 tasks, or we build another update-site (invoke another tycho-p2-repository-plugin:assemble-repository for the product using the magic "includeAllDependencies" flag).
