Rob Stryker commented on JBIDE-14993:
-------------------------------------

I won't be able to test this until until my soa-p download completes... But I am concerned about one thing I saw in the docspace document.

So far it seems to indicate that the slot may be 'eap', 'soa', or other. But, it seems the current implementations (eap and soa) have slight differences which affect whether I can accurately detect them.

EAP has it's product folder at modules/system/layers/base/org/jboss/as/product/eap/dir/META-INF/MANIFEST.MF

SOA has its product folder in modules/system/layers/soa/org/jboss/as/product/soa/dir/META-INF/MANIFEST.MF

Why is there this dichotomy?

> from JBIDE-13582 SOA-P seem to have broken dir layout:
> It contains
> slot=soa
> in the bin/product.conf file.
> The /modules/system/layers/base/org/jboss/as/product/soa/dir/META-INF is expected, but the distribution contains /modules/system/layers/base/org/jboss/as/product/eap/dir/META-INF.
