In JBIDE-12054 we chose not to show an error dialog when the user was cancelling the job. This was correct for the misleading behaviour that was reported there. Unfortunately this also caused automatic cancelling not to get reported any more, which is part of this issue here. Both cases - the user cancels the job OR we cancel the job because it takes too long - are not distinguished in code currently.
