I've had a bad time with the latest TP. Removing validation was not the ideal move: it makes the TP we publish totally unusable and causes a lot of errors.
So I simply removed the bad features from TP (as a temporary workaround) so we can still produce good-enough TP to avoid blocking many users/builds.

BTW, the flag to skip TP validation could be part of the mojo so it wouldn't be necessary to define it in the pom.xml. Do you want me to add it to the mojo before the CR2 release (which has to happen before Beta1) ?
