I could probably be persuaded to go along with data-ng-* if it is documented somewhere why we are doing that. As for framework creators not following specs to help IDEs, that probably lends itself to the fact that most JavaScript devs I know (including myself) don't use an IDE. Many use "enhanced" text editors like vim or Sublime Text.
