In response to adding info to docs, here is the current status:
JBDS installer jar - documented in Installation Guide 7.0+ and Getting Started Guide 7.0+,
JBDS update site zip - documented in User Guide 7.0+,
JBDS Central TP zip (JBDS-2623) - not yet documented TOOLSDOC-426,
JBDS Examples/Archtypes cache script (JBDS-2543) - documented in User Guide 7.0+,
JBDS headless install script (JBDS-2715) - documented in Installation Guide 7.1,

They are not all documented in the same place as they are documented in appropriate places for their use.
