You're right, it probably wouldn't install before PR 426 either, but I like my approach better here. 

Note that the feature is now orphaned and not needed, so you could decide to delete it from git entirely if you want, or at least mark it deprecated so people don't waste time keeping its list of contained plugins updated. [~mmalina] Want a PR for that?
