A Cordova plugin must add an entry to config.xml only if it has native parts so that it is loaded on runtime. However if a plugin does not have native bits, this entry is not needed. The plugin com.blackberry.app seems to be javascript only hence it does not update the config.xml

The null message on the uninstall dialog is a separate issue can you file one for it.
